Monochromatic Color Scheme

A Monochromatic color scheme is composed of tints, shades and tones of one singular hue or color.  An example of a monochromatic color scheme is the below portrait, by Australian street and graffiti artist, Guido Van Helten.

This work was painted on location at the 2012 Harvest Music Festival festival in Australia.  In this artwork, Van Helten used tints and shades of red to create an artwork, utilizing spray paint.
